H.I.M. (Fred & Bob) has been working in this region for years and now have workers just about 2 hours from Orissa where recent persecution has been horrible with hundreds of deaths and thousands of Christians running for safety.This is the same state where Graham Staines, the Australian who served lepers since 1965, was burned to death with his seven and nine-year old sons, in their station wagon while they slept, in 1999  http://www.ibsresources.org/articles/staines.shtml . 
 Fred  personally stayed with Graham at the Baptist guest house in Calcutta and  shared a meal with him about 6 months before his death. The 2 maps below show this area and the places where H.I.M. has ministered and NOW have 'PALS' or friends.
