Brandon Montgomery

I am a missionary in Bogota, Colombia, South America. I work with an organization called Christian Sport Association. I live with the pastoral family. Their vision is based on Acts 13:47 "For this is what the Lord has commanded us: I have made you a light, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth." I teach English in an elementary school founded and run by Christian Sport Association. It's a great ministry opportunity because many of the children come from broken homes where they are mistreated. It is a great chance to share Jesus' love. I also am a translator in conversation and and documents. I love what I do and God has blessed me to be able to be here! As a full-time missionary, I am raising support to be able to live here. I need $650.00 per month which covers housing, transportation, and phone and internet. I attached my update letter from my mission trip to Sierra Leone, Africa which includes more information about my stay in Colombia. It also tells how you can help support me either financially and/or with prayer. I am also part of a non-profit ministry in Kansas called Heartland International Ministries. They support missionaries all over the world and they have offered to receive my supporters donations to give them tax-write offs for their giving. I uploaded photos of the kids at the school I will be working with to this group. They are awesome.

I am planning on going to Birmingham, Alabama with the ministry soccer team as a translator November 12-21. We are a part of a soccer tournament there, and this will be an opportunity to share Jesus with the other teams and people we meet. Instead of paying the normal amount for that month, I need to raise $865.00 to be able to go with them. This covers plane tickets, travel, housing, and food.
